i did not get this game yet but so far according to the characters and costumes im not impressed. the storyline is obviously based on the civil war which everyone knows is amazing because making a game like that is hard to do. of course they put in some of the characters from the previous game such as great ones like captain america, iron man, daredevil, wolverine, storm, spiderman, ms marvel, the fantastic 4, thor, luke cage, and the best one, deadpool. then they put in suprising new characters in that were of course important to the civil war such as songbird(who i hate but she is important) penance, iron fist, green goblin, hulk, and venom. then they put in characters not important in the civil war such as jean grey, gambit, and juggernaut. the ones that are not in the civil war are really cool. the costumes for most of these characters are absolutely terrible. im not going to explain all of the characters because only half came out so here we go (scaled it 1 worst 5 best)

hulk: red hulk-4- very colorful and i dont know red hulk but i was impressed

venom: Eddie Brock-2-i really didnt know he could look so bad(in a bad way). wanted scorpion because that was his identity as the new venom

mr fantastic: younger-1-same looking costume not colorful at all and with stupid glasses

thor: thor after ragnarok-3-colorful pretty thought out but i wanted beta ray bill again because he was in the civil war

songbird: screaming mimi-4-like i said i dont know her but she looks hot in that costume!

human torch: younger-1- same costume but younger. face looks like crap in the picture

daredevil: secret war-3-very colorful and it makes him look like a real daredevil

luke cage: luke cage secret war-2- very similar to hero for hire costume

wolverine: wolverine secret war-2-kind of looks like his ultimate costume in the first game

juggernaut: i have no clue-4- kind of looks like an alien and a machine. very thought out

iron fist: arab iron fist-2- wierd costume same color but covering his face

jean grey: marvel girl-5- saved the best for last. couldnt be better. plus she looks sexy and i know everyone loves the classic costumes.

these are what i hope the rest of the characters are

    iron man: war machine
    captain america:bucky(very likely)
    penance:speedball(very likely)
    green goblin:hobgoblin
    storm:original white costume
deadpool:nightcrawler(might not be able to fit him in catagory)
    ms marvel:ventura
    invisible woman:dont care
    thing:original
    gambit:dont care
    spiderman:civil war(very likely)
    last character not revealed yet.

this is the last thing i will say. i would have put more characters not in the civil war to make it seem more exciting. here are the characters i would put that they should have already put in:

Great Action RPG especially if you like Marvel

    Created: 02/10/10
First off I will say that I really loved the original produced by Raven. The sequel is good, but not nearly as solid as the original. My biggest dislike was the whole costume factor. You can only unlock one costume per character, and they don’t even have special abilities like they did in the original. The story was average. The graphics were well done. The fusion power combos felt tacked on as not every hero had unique ones. In other words it felt like they were very repetitive after you did one type with each hero. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed the first MUA, but will say it isn’t as good. If you’re looking for a good action RPG based on Marvel Heroes this is for you. If you haven’t played the original, buy that one first.

    Less Glitchy Please...

    Created: 05/06/10
This is the sequel to the game of the year? This was a fun co-op game, but there were so many game-killing experiences that I do not know where to begin. I gave it a 2 for numerous reasons. Now, not saying that this game wasn't fun, but come on, a AAA game from a AAA company having as many problems as not only myself have found?

OK, I ran into 3 game-killing glitches. What do I mean by that? Glitches that occurred during game play would result in having to turn the game off and on to fix. I played this with a friend in 2 player co-op. The first glitch occurred during the trivia mini-game. Somehow the game thought we pressed continue after each answer so it was impossible to back out. We reset it, and did it again since we knew all the answers. The next game-killing glitch came from the fight with venom and Green Goblin in Wakanda. For some reason (according to sources online) it is common to run into a glitch that will cause green goblin to not come down off his glider once venom is defeated. He even stops taking damage! The last game-killing glitch, using a fusion power at the end of a simulation mission, and the bar in the bottom right did not go away. After a reload that didn't help, I had to exit to the dashboard and reload the game to fix it.

Some problems weren't glitches, but rather errors that should have been cleared with some QA testing. I am preparing myself to enter into the industry, I was personally offended with this game's performance. One of the boosts state that it takes away 15% melee caused, but in the "quick menu" it takes 75%. The waypoint guide for finding objectives also had its issues. We would follow the arrow and either the game didn't update the objective quick enough, or the objective was in corner blocked by a pillar or such, the problem created would lead us in the wrong directions. A node/pathfinding protocol would have sufficed to create a more accurate waypoint system, however, it is already released and that's that. And lastly escorting people in the prison simulator, the AI for the computer controlled prisoners often would get stuck and we would have to run back in to fix them, which of course made it extremely challenging when you had to dodge the security forces patrolling the area.

Then we can compare to the previous game. This game is a sequel, and while it was fun to play with a friend, the experience from the first game was much more enjoyable. The first thing I disliked that they took out from the first game was the ability to use different skills, and map them to your controller in a way you prefer. Then they the character's abilities were very similar dependent of the button using for the controller. It seemed that Siren's and the Human Torch's abilities were very similar, minus the part where the Human Torch's abilities used a fire graphic attack and Siren's used a purplish pink attack to simulate her psychic powers. Which will bring me to the other reason I didn't care for this game: costumes were poor in art choice. They may have been based off of the old comics, which is fine, however, the costumes from the original Marvel Ultimate Alliance were much more enjoyable to look at, and created some strategy for the player as he gained different buffs from different costumes. A great idea that was surely missed in this game.

The fighting was good, and those of us who were annoyed in the first game with button mashing combos for boss fights will be glad to know they have been removed.

Alright game not as good as the first in my opinion. If anything I'd say when they were making a sequel just improve graphics and stick with the new storyline. I didnt find this Civil War one to good. And fusion was cool at first but they got rid of everyones ultimate attack from the first game. So now if you want to do a special you have to make it a fusion. Oh and it really sucked how the first one gave everyone 4 Costumes in total but this one only gives you 2 in total. I can say 2 good things about this game.
    1. Better graphics than the first
    2. Bigger roster of heroes but not better in my opinion

I'd say rent this before you commit to a buy
