A comprehensive, well illustrated glossy collector's book that gives readers more than just pretty photos. Mr. Horowitz also gives a background of the Marx Company from the beginning through the final years.
There are pictures not only of the playset items, but also of the creators and the factory, plus some museum info as well. I would have loved to see more color photos of complete playsets, but many of the playsets are so rare, they don't exist in full set anymore.
It is a beautiful book, a bit pricey, but definitely a must for any serious collector of Marx Playsets.
