Maybelline Mineral Power Natural Perfecting Powder Foundation

This, in my opinion, is the best foundation Maybelline has ever made. It glides on and covers almost any flaw and imperfection. I bought a foundation brush which makes it even easier to get a "professional" look. Just apply like you would the mineral powder, (in circles) for a finished look. With the large array of colors, it is easy to find that "perfect match". The price is the definite clincher if anyone has any doubts. (try it with not much to lose). You WILL love it. Long lasting and good coverage at a nominal price. When I found out Maybelline discontinued this product, I was glad to find it easily on Ebay.

I am reviewing just a liquid foundation, not a full set.

I used to have Maybelline Affinitone Mineral foundation, which I thought was a European version and so I was expecting the same quality from Mineral Power and bought this in 2 shades, hoping that I will like it a lot, because Affinitone was one of the best foundations I ever used.
However it appeared to be totally different product.
It doesn`t cover anything, doesn`t look natural (it is obvious I am wearing make-up, no matter how much or little product I put on my face) and I don`t like the finish provided by it.
Plus I had my face itching during the day with this foundation. I suppose I am allergic to one of the ingredients. And it never happened to me before, my skin is not super sensitive. So I even gave it a second chance to make sure it wasn`t from something else, and yes - the same very feeling. I couldn`t wait to wash my face to get rid of this stuff. Or I`d rather say from the rest of the stuff, because it doesn`t last too long, it feels like it disappears from my face in a few hours. I mean I could still feel, that I am wearing make-up (I hate when foundation leaves this feeling), but it looked sort of washed off.

All in all, it is one of the worst products I have ever used, and I won`t recommend it to anyone.
After reading all good reviews I am thinking that maybe I just got defective product, because it is hard to believe it can be that bad.

I love this foundation. I discovered it when I purchased it two years ago. I was told it was discontinued, but I found it again here on Ebay and was very excited... Bought a quantity of 8 bottles.... It's just as good as any high priced makeup on the market. Makes my skin look and feel great... covers perfectly.

I've used this foundation for several years. Same quality (natural and even coverage) as other higher-price mineral products. Maybelline apparently recently discontiued this line and I happened to find it on Ebay at even lower price than I used to pay at drugstores. So I happily bought 2.

I find all mineral foundations not work as well on dry skin. Since I have combination skin so I put extra moisturizer on the dry spots.

So sad I can't find it in the stores anymore because I love the product! I've checked up on it and it seems to be discontinued. I'm glad I found it on ebay, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time that I won't be able to order anymore. It makes my skin look flawless without actually using anything but powder.
