The only problem we ran into was the cabinet it was in was a little bigger than the hole the 1964 unit came out of. Had to do a little cutting of the counter top.

Installation is a breeze. However there are a few tricks to help out. First, give the drip bowls a fine coating of olive oil, let set, then remove the next morning. I have found this to help when cleaning burn food from them. Also make sure to properly secure the unit to the counter. (We don't want it moving around now do we?) Overall it is a great buy and perfect for using cast iron skillets as all cooks should.

Good piece of equipment, installed easily, looks good in place, had to remove the burners and drip pans for installation and they came out easily and went back in without any bother. I didn't like that the surface light goes out as soon as the burner goes out, I had hoped that it stayed on as long as the burners were hot as on glass top drop ins. In any event a good product that was well worth the money.
