Product Information
Follow-up to the Xbox Live mech shooter, developed by Day 1. In addition to the BattleMechs from the first game, MechAssault 2 lets you pilot an entirely new line of combat vehicles including Tanks, Vertical TakeOff and Landing Craft, and BattleArmor. In the original game, battle armor was a small jet-powered craft that offered minimal armor and firepower. Its usefulness on the battle field was limited to its slight advantage in maneuverability. In the sequel, the BattleArmor enables players to climb buildings, ride the Vertical Landing Craft and most importantly, hijack enemy Mechs. The ability to take over enemy equipment is bound to add an interesting new level of strategy to online battles. The game also features a deeper single-player campaign with a more interesting storyline and greater NPC interaction.

MechAssault 2: Lone Wolf (Xbox) - per a 10 year old

My son likes that is has new things, such as weaponry, vehicles and armor. Dislikes that you cannot change the controller settings to be more like the original game. Bought this game because it sounded like it gave more competition than the first game.

Challenging and good play action

The first time I played Mech Assault was in Indianapolis in a walk-in game, and I have been hooked ever since. Mech Assault 2 is everything you love to hate: mechs that don't want to move, foes that seem invincible, and the banter. If you love Mech Assault then try Mech Assault 2.

This game is the second of it's kind. Although the forst one is much better. Unfortunatly, I don't have my original xbox anymore, so I'm stuck with this one. This one is OK and I can manage. I would be careful for this one, It's ok, but not everyone will like it. Think of it as the VERY FIRST kind of armored assult game.
