Amon Duul - 'Meeting With Menmachines' (Thunderbolt)

Created: 19/04/10
Not a 100% sure about it, but this CD more or less appears to be another compilation release - filled with left-over tracks to make an actual album. Don't get me wrong here '"Meeting With Menmachines' isn't bad nor is it great - but it's decent. I liked the the spaced out (sort of progressive) "Pioneer" and "Burundi Drummer's Nightmare" the best. Certainly not for any new/er AD or ADII fans, but for the patron that has at least - say six or more of the band's 'main' titles. This effort might very well be second class krautrock, but it's still worth a listen.
