This is not the first time I have purchased The Message. The copies I purchased in the past turned out to be gifts to others whom I love and want to have the experience of salvation which I have found in Christ. I have read it through and repeated many passages again. It is like reading an exciting, interesting, historical novel. I love the old King James version of the Bible. However, The Message is much easier to read and understand.

) I CAN'T IMAGINE THE HOURS POURED INTO THIS PARAPHRASE. I CAN IMAGINE THE JOY THE UNDERSTANDING OF THE SCRIPTURES BRING. I BELIEVE JESUS MET PEOPLE AT THEIR POINT OF NEED IN COMMUNICATION AS WELL AS APPLICATION. WITHOUT FAITH IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD. FAITH COMES BY HEARING AND HEARING BY THE WORD. IT'S ALL ABOUT GOD AND PLEASING HIM. THEREFORE, ANY METHOD WHICH FACILITATES HEARING AND FAITH, CAN ONLY ULTIMATELY SERVE TO PLEASE GOD... THANKS AND GOD BLESS MR. EUGENE PETERSON...AND PRAISE BE TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR,JESUS CHRIST. BOB SNIPES.

This is my favorite translation of the Bible and I give away as many copies as I can. I appreciated this particular one because of the size and that it came in a carry case.
