The self-titled debut from Sword showed promise, with a strong batch of classic metal anthems. After kicking things off with a couple of excellent tracks, "Follow the Wheels" and "Children of Heaven," the band finished strong with "Evil Spell." Problem is, the songs in between didn't really stand up, and without backing from a major label, Sword never had much success outside Canada. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia

This cd has some distinction about it,the sound is a little raw but still
entertaining.Especially those who like early 80's metal.Reminds me a little
of early metal church,and a hint of dio.It still has it's own Identity,which
makes it a collectors gem.Buy it cause it's still to be enjoyed.
