Fun album, not too meaningful

) When I first listened through this album, I thought, "No wonder 'Shake It' and 'Seventeen Forever' are the only songs anyone's every heard of." After listening to it some more though, it grew on me. You might have to listen more than once to hear a major difference between the upbeat dance numbers. Some, "Kelsey" and "Wish We Were Older," are actually very well written, not to mention fun, which is the whole reason for this album. If you want deep and serious, listen to Michael Bolton. Just hanging out or getting pumped up for a big event though, Metro Station is good.

Fun but superficial

) I first heard their single "Shake it." It was fun, catchy, kinda dirty, but hey it was fun and catchy. Got their cd. Eh. It's good for those times when you just want mindless poppy music. The lyrics are stupid, nothing groundbreaking here. All in all, an eh band.

I got this CD because I absolutely love that song Shake It!! It gets me in a good mood!! As for the rest of the CD, I'm not to crazy about it. Not really worth the money.
