This is a fantastic document of the spectacle and power Michael Jackson's live shows demonstrated. Strangely bare-bones, it seems to be a hasty release of the HBO special from Fall 1992, during the "Dangerous Tour;" there are no extras, no commentaries or other DVD extras at all. In fact, the picture quality seems to indicate that it might even be an "official" dub of the original videotaped live show. No matter, though - people that only know his talent through his recordings and videos owe it to themselves to see just how unbelievable he was as a live performer, and as far as I know this is the only non-bootleg recording of his post- "Thriller" concert tours. Performing in a stadium setting in front of what appears to be 100,000 people, he dances and sings his way through 2 hours of non-stop rock, pop ballads, and high-energy R&B. There are some schmaltzy moments to be sure, and the awkward finale, in which a double for Michael exits the stadium via a jet-pack, is oddly anti-climactic. But after watching these versions of "Billie Jean" (with an extended solo dance segment by Michael, accompanied only by a drum beat), a passionate "Man In the Mirror," and the show-stopping "Beat It," there is no doubt in my mind that he was the GREATEST live performer EVER.

I was always amazed when first seeing the Jackson5,(maybe on Ed Sullian?),
at the poise & maturity of the lead singer, for one so obviously young... not
to mention tiny. Michael acted like an adult and was believable! Then a few
years later, he grew taller and caught-up with his brothers. And the talent
developed to a higher level. Now we fast-forward to 1992, five years after the
'Bad' tour, & to the 'Dangerous'tour in Bucharest,Rom. All I can say is from
the start of the show to the surprise ending,(if you see it you'll understand)
it is truly amazing! This is the best live music dvd I own, and I'm gonna get
'This is it' next!

Like always is Michael magical to see in a consert! But I´m a big Michael Jackson fan and have been follow his music and concert´s through the years on dvd and cd,etc and I want to say, just The Dangerous Tour, was not the best he did, but, Michael is Michael, The biggest and most expensive concerts is always a pleasure to see. I want offcouse to recommend this to all fans like all other of Michael Jackson´s music material.
