    I recently began teaching Elementary Music and immediately started looking for this story as it adapts very well to the music classroom. I enjoy all of Jan Brett's stories and the illustrations are just as great. If you are looking for a story that children will fall in love with and one you will enjoy as well this is definitely a winner.     Love the story! It is a great book for my grandchildren and one that can be read every year during the winter season. Now go out and buy some mittens.

    I bought it for my granddaughter. She loves it! the illustrations are detailed and this book sparks imagination and creativity in children that read it. I sent it to my granddaughter with her own pair of mittens.
