Modern Vampires (DVD, 1999)

The one saving grace in this movie is Craig Ferguson. His awful "english" accent is distracting in a funny way. He should just stick to the Scottish thing. Udo Kier is always a plus. The man is horror in my eyes.
Plenty of nudity, language, and bad acting to carry a vampire flick.

i loved the movie from begining to end it had been years seen i had last watched it and its as good now as it was them casper van dien as dallas the bad boy ex pliot, Craig Ferguson as richard the happy go lucky wild and horny vampire its an allstar cast great movie to watch with friends

Here is a fresh twist to an old story. Vampires in modern times that just call clean up crews to pick up the bodies and they play in vampire BDSM clubs! How do you fight these modern blood suckers? Run an ad for help in the local papers. Hire the local home boys (street gangs) to help kill them.

But when the homeies sex up a vampire, they find you can be converted that way too.... look out, now it gets crazy!

Don't miss this one. In the same vein as "Fright Night" a great update and a new twist to the bloodsucker sagas.

If you liked Freeway, with Keifer Sullivan as a psychologist who is actually a pervert who kills hitchhiking women, and Reese Witherspoon as the trailer park trash girl who runs away from child protective services after her mother is arrested for hooking and her mother's boyfriend tries to seduce her, then you will also enjoy Modern Vampires. The main female character is a lot like the one in Freeway, trashy and uneducated, and the vampires are truly perverse. This is the kind of movie John Waters must enjoy watching.

although cheesy i love this movie ive been lookin for it for years and i finally found it.its a different look to the vampire story it combines a little drama with some comedy even my peers like enjoyed watching the movie.thank you
