Mona the Vampire: The Complete First Season (DVD, 2010, 5-Disc Set)

The Twilight series of books and movies opened a door that many of us were wanting filled. The Vampire Diaries is a superb TV show with an excellent cast. The stories are unique, but also familiar. Teenage love and problems are complicated by vampires at school and in a town rich with a supernatural history. Witches, werewolves, ancient vampires that none can kill. The sheriff's daughter becomes a vampire, and this creates a unique situation because the sheriff has lived in this town her entire life, raised with a deep hatred of vampires. Eleana Gilbert is a doppelganger for the vampire who turned both Stephan Salvatore and his brother Damon just after the Civil War. But she is a very old vampire. It is very enjoyable and I highly recommend both Season 1 and 2, season 3 will start this fall.

The product is great! Only one problem with the disk set. The way it is packaged inside allows the disks to easily fall off, becoming scratched. One disk skips because of that. Other than that I love the series, and being able to watch it as I please. All the bonuses are nice as well. This is The Vampire Diaries: The Complete First Season, not mona the vampire.. I don't know what that is there for.

This is the most addicting show on the face of the Earth. DEFINITELY worth getting in to. I first watched it on a rainy day my senior year of college because I was bored out of my mind. I thought the pilot was just okay, but after episode 2 I was HOOKED. I've always been a big fan of vampires (since well before the Twilight fad.) I'm happy to see a show that sticks very close to classic vampire lore, rather than "glittery" vampires, as much as I love Edward. This show constantly keeps you guessing and has twists and turns that you don't see coming. That's the best part of fantasy shows. Great show for all ages! (even adults haha I swear!!)

This series is awesome! I was hooked from the very first episode and can't get enough. Could hardly wait all summer for the new fall season to start. Not only does the series have HOT people to look at, there is also humor in the episodes. Some of the episodes really keep me locked in, like I'm in a zone, and I can't believe an hour has passed so quickly. So, happy this series is on television....makes Thursday nights not so boring anymore!

I brought The Vampire Diaries: The Complete First Season a few weeks ago and I started to watch the episodes on the DVDs. I fell in love the first of this series all over again. I couldn't wait to watch the episodes all over again. I love it. I decided to buy it because of the fact that it was half price here on ebay compared to the retail price in stories. And, I was looking for one that was brand new and I found that and so I brought it. I would recommend anyone who is a fan of the series to buy it.
