Monk - Season Seven (DVD, 2009, 4-Disc Set)

Once you start watching Monk, you crave it. There is something personally identifiable with the mans quirky personality... If you have any ocd's you'll recognize them. If you don't, you must might find that this beloved character makes you strive to be a little neater and more observant in your life. (My husband has been cleaning up behind himself more since weve been watching Monk) Based on the worst of tragedies, Monk is still dealing with his wifes death some 12 years later. Our hearts go out to this man, whose own childhood was about as stimulating as a rock and had to deal with being picked on. Yes, he started out with OCD's but when he lost his wife they really took hold. My friend calls this show, Murder Light... My husband thinks its a comedy and in many ways it is... however, some of it is gory and heart wrenching. It is a joy to see the little advances in Monk's healing and facinating at how he looks at the world because of these setbacks. I whole heartedly recommend this season and every other. Its my comfort show. When I need to relax I watch a Monk episode. Theres a few tho, that watching once is enough, but much more that you can watch over and over again and still throughly enjoy. I am collecting all the seasons. I have 1,3 and now 7. Im hoping that there are some that I have not seen yet as I also tivo them. I only started watching during the middle of season Seven. This was a particularily decent price and I could not pass it up. I only wish I had bought others of this persons offerings.

This is a great collection for anyone who is addicted to the Monk Series. I for one never miss an episode. Unfortunately, this year is the last season for Monk. Get them while you can. You will enjoy as he solves mystery after mystery with his OCD condition.

Monk is my hero and I have bought the whole series. This Season #7 was the last purchase to have them all. My collection is now, complete...

I live in South Africa and they are screening monk season 4 hear at the moment but I am so Monk crazy that i keep taps on Monk in the US as soon as Monk comes out on DVD I buy it. I have all seven seasons and can not wait for the next. I take a week of work to watch monk as soon as i receive it.

I bought this for my daughters birthday. She had a detective Monk theme complete with hand wipes. Her and her friends just loved the party and she won't let any of her friends come over without watching some episodes of monk. Season seven is more of the defective detective that we have grown to Love!
