Product Information
Monopoly for the Super Nintendo introduces a whole new generation to the classic board game. The object of the game is simple: bankrupt your opponents. The gameplay calls for you to roll the dice and circle the board, buy or trade properties, build houses and hotels, and charge rent when your opponents happen to land on them. The more expensive properties are more desirable, as the rent is proportionately higher. You must also avoid the long arm of the law and jail time, which causes you to lose a turn and potential profit. From the look of the board itself, to the wheelbarrow, race car, and dog used as pieces, to the color of the deeds, every detail is accounted for in the Super Nintendo version. You can play with up to eight players with a multi-tap, or go it alone against the computer.

How can you not like Monopoly?

Created: 07/08/08
The Super Nintendo version of the classic board game Monopoly is absolutely terrific. All of the game features are there, with option to undo certain rules. Great to play with a lot of friends, or just sit back and relax and play the cpu. Best of all there is no clean up afterwards. :)

I love monopoly and thought that the snes game would be great that way I didn't have to worry about loosing game pieces or money, etc.. It is alot of fun, especially when you play another human, but you can also play multiple computer components too!!

If you like electronic boardgames.....

If you like electronic board games this is for you. You can play with a CPU, which is ok. The game does have a 'trade' option where you can barter for things (even with the CPU). But this option can become a headache and it does take away from gameplay, although it does add strategy.

Ive always loved this game and playing it on the snes makes it fun and efficient; for example, one doesnt have to worry about counting money or keeping track of mortages, etc. Also, 1 - 8 players can play at a time which makes it fun for big groups. If you loved the board game, you will enjoy this the same or (like me) even more.
