    Product description

    Synopsis
In this deceptively simple handbook, written in the form of a fable, Spencer Johnson presents strategies for coping with professional and personal change and, in the process, determining the path of true fulfillment. Two mice (Sniff and Scurry) and two little people (Hem and Haw), each with different personalities, navigate their maze, searching for the elusive, ever-changing cheese. Basic lessons become clear as we see the mice successfully reaching their goal, while the people sometimes complicate their lives by overthinking. Chapter titles such as "If You Do Not Change, You Can Become Extinct" and "Noticing Small Changes Early Helps You Adapt to the Bigger Changes That Are to Come" add up to a coherent schema that can help us prepare for and accept change while reducing the stress associated with it. WHO MOVED MY CHEESE remained at the top of the New York Times Best Seller list for over a year, and has been used in staff development seminars at many corporations. Dr. Johnson is also the co-author of the famed business book THE ONE-MINUTE MANAGER.

Change is a constant way of life

    Created: 11/11/06
The message "change is inevitable, growth is optional" is an influential truth and if understood can be beneficial to many people. Yet, most of the examples of success in this book were business related, even though the author asserts that his principles can be applied to a variety of situations and goals for happiness. Therefore, I would recommend this book, first and foremost, to those in business searching for a quick, energizing perspective on how to deal with the ever-changing world of their environment.

At a time when I'm unsure of my future with a company that I've spent the last 22 years of my life with, this book was just what I needed. I've always felt that my fear held me back, but now with the help of this book, even though all this stuff are things that I already know, this has truly helped me. I think I now have what I need to see me through my next stages. I'm going to Move With My Cheese

    The Cheese is rotten

Simplistic and strenuous to listen to, this format may be cute and obviously appeals to many but so does The Simpsons. Why not call it Aw Shucks? If there was a nugget of insight here that is above an eigth grade level, it is hidden so well you will fall asleep before it is revealed.

Great for Sales Managers who have burned out, cant manage, cant lead and do not have faith in the ingenuity of the hard working sales professionals that pay earn his pay. They can recommend it without fear of anyone learning how ineffective they are.

I gave it away! And; not to a friend!
