Movie synopsis

In this highly original comedy, an overworked family man (Michael Keaton) who doesn't have time to do everything he'd like finds a creative solution--he clones himself. Not just once, however--he winds up with four slightly different versions, counting the original. Of course, all is not as easy as it seems, and the clones quickly become a handful for the already stressed-out original.

This was a fun almost quirky little movie about a guy who loves his life but is too busy to enjoy it.
Successful corporate executive and family man, there are just not enough hours in the day to get done all that needs to get done. So, after bumping into a mysterious man who overhears Doug complaining about not having enough time in the day, Doug decides to take the man's advice to clone himself. Now there's the Doug at home, more time for family, and Doug at the office. Things however get sticky when Doug #2 gets jealous and decides to eventually make a clone of a clone. The genetic code takes a beating and Doug #4 just doesn't quite have the same smarts and outlook on life as the original!
A fun movie that address an issue many people deal with on a daily basis, how to make the most of what we've been given.
I gave it a 7 out of 10!

Multiplicity is one of the funniest movies that Micheal Keaten has ever been in, it is a non stop laugh fest. Would definately reccomend to my friends. Micheal plays the part of a husband and father with too many duties and not enough time. Things get interesting when he stubbles into a cloning facility and is talked into getting a little help managing his time. When him and his clone cant seem to get enough done he gets yet another and when the clones decide they need some help they get another. Trying despritly to hide his multiples from his family and keeping things straight at his job becomes a non stop struggle as his clones begin to take on thier own personalities and making thier own descitions on how things should be done. This is a great show that is sure to bring a smile to your face time and time again.

Makes for a great evening of laughter and fun. Entertainment touching on realities for couples who are involved with raising (or have recently raised) a family of 'young-uns'. Michael Keaton's at his best in this and so is Andie McDowell. Nicely done. Am still trying to figure out how they made this thing look so real !!!

I really like Michael Keaton, I do, though I haven't seen a great movie with him in a while. Andie, um, like, Hudson Hawk is her best to me. I'm not a big fan.

This movie has a lot of wasted potential, it's just not very interesting. The technology seems dated. Why didn't he just tell his wife? You wonder that the whole movie, if you make it through. Watch Batman Returns, Batman, Out of Sight, Jackie Brown, Beetlejuice...anything before this. You'd have to be a huge fan. I bought this for a client, otherwise, I never liked this movie, but I gave it one more chance.
