    My grandson was thrilled to receive this as a birthday gift. He is in a Catholic Kindergarten and the teacher reads the children stories from this book. I also purchased a second for my granddaughter who is now in preschool. I am sure she will want her own because this is a book that will last a youngster several years.

    This bible is excellent because every page has a beautiful illustration of what the story is about. The drawings are not contemporary and are useful in explaining certain passages in the bible. Also included at each and every page are short prayers along with bible references.

    Great introduction to the Catholic Faith. I have one of these books for each of my Boys and I find them reading them over and over.

    I bought this for my little granddaughter as a baptismal gift. She's 5 1/2 and very interested in learning about God and Mary and Jesus. She loves to be read to and will often remember most of the story just by looking at the pictures that went with the story. There are lots of well done illustrations to help a child visualize what the story is trying to say.
