It's an odd assortment that leaves out recent successes such as his Oscar-nominated work on Cold Mountain, and there's nothing here from 1982's excellent Brimstone & Treacle soundtrack, one of the artist's first forays into a solo career. My Funny Valentine: Sting at the Movies isn't dreadful, but it will probably appeal to die-hard fans only. ~ James Christopher Monger
