My Name Is Nobody (DVD, 2005)

If you like the Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Westerns, you'll love the movie "My Name is Nobody". Terence Hill stars as the title character along with Henry Fonda. Good acting, a good story and some well placed comedy make this a great movie.

This is an enjoyably interesting and strange movie. Two contrasting characters, Henry Fonda(an aging gunfighter looking to retire) and Terrence Hill( a young hot shot looking to make a name for himself) embark on a series of misadventures that cause their paths to frequently cross. The action scenes range from cool to slapstick, to strangely bizarre. There are several places where the plot seems to get a little disjointed. Although it's got a catchy theme tune and is full of great background music typical of Ennio Morricone, it does tend to get a little redundant with the usage of some of that music and footage. My final verdict is that I would recommend this film to any fan of the spaghetti western. It's a light-hearted and fond farewell to a genre that was coming to an end.

Always makes you smile. Just a very good western spoof that keeps you laughing. Makes you want to go out and get the second one.

If you enjoy spaghetti westerns this is a classic and a must see. Keep in mind a sense of humor regarding the filming and acting style of Terrance and the character he plays. As far as I'm concerned this movie is the height of his career as Nobody on film.

I love this movie and had been looking for it for some time. I decided to give ebay a shot. Its' a classic. The price was right so I couldn't resist.
