    Synopsis
Fans of Sylvia Browne's books will welcome THE MYSTICAL LIFE OF JESUS as a perfect match of author and subject. Sylvia's lifelong pursuit of learning and her gifts for explaining come to the fore here, as she explores the many questions, the unknowns, and even the certainties concerning the life of Jesus of Nazareth, including the question most often asked: What did Jesus do in the first 30 years of his life? Though not a scholar, Browne is well-read in the Gnostic texts, and she relies on help from her spirit guide as she provides an inspiring, refreshing commentary on an important aspect of the man about whom there is always more to learn.

    The Mystical Life of Jesus

    Created: 22/11/07
Her Jesus is not the Jesus of the Bible. This is what she says. Her "spirit guide, Francine" says that Joseph impregnated Mary and that it was not a virgin birth. She says "We do not hold that Christ was God, nor that he died for our sins nor that he rose from the dead."

It sounds like Sylvia's "spirit guide, Francine" is a lying spirit, It sounds like maybe her "spirit guide" is actually a demon. What does Sylvia Browne's church Novus Spiritus believe? Well for one they believe in multiple gods (Polytheistic), the main ones being Om - the Father God, and Azna - the Mother God. They also believe that Jesus did not die on the cross, that He married Mary Magdalene, who escaped to France. They believe that Jesus died about the age of 86.

As you can see, she is not a Bible believing Christian. She is deceived herself and is trying to deceive others.

Sylvia Browne has come up with fantasy and managed to pawn it off on alot of uninformed people as truth. She quotes the Bible, but totally twists the meaning of what the Bible says.
She is a pyschic and the Bible clearly states to stay away from pyschics and mediums. She mixes a little truth with alot of falsehood and outright lies. She believes in reincarnation, which the Bible does not teach.
Some psychics use a method called cold or warm readings to make people believe that they are getting information about a dead person.

Cold readings are where they make an educated guess about something about you, buy picking up clues, by what you say or do, or your appearance or age. If you tell them the information is wrong, they use a number of ways to distract you, for example some will tell you that they are getting information from a "playful" spirit that tells them false things, etc..... warm readings are where they have microphones in the studio before their show and they listen in, as people talk to friends that have come with them about deceased friends or relatives, and then they pick those people in the audience that they listened in on and use that information to make those people and others think they are getting a message from a spirit.

A book that exposes the New Age, that I recommend is by Johanna Michaelsen. Her book "The beautiful Side of Evil and "Like Lambs to the Slaughter", expose alot of these lies.

I pray for Slvia Browne, because I know God loves her and everyone, but He doesn't want any of us to be deceived and that is what she is doing.

I give this book a poor rating. Don't waste your time on it.

    Sylvia does it again!

    Created: 17/02/11
Sylvia once again struck a chord deep in my soul. Religion used to scare me to death with all the talk of devils and eternal damnation. Of course I think that was the intent of those that wrote the religious laws. I believe we do have a perfect loving peaceful God and that he doesn't want to punish us and that we are here for him to make mistakes and learn from them so that we might strive to be as perfect as possible in his presense when we go home. Sylvia breaks up the bible into sections so that you can understand it and then explains what really happpened and points out the likly mistakes that were made. She makes a lot of sense and also makes you feel more secure in your faith! I love her works and think she is truly a gift to us from God so that we may learn from her and truly love our creator with no fear!

    Do or Don't

Sylvia tells her side of the bible as she see's it. I would say that if you are a christian and listen to these types you will think she is a lier and making things up through a spirit guide. I personally think that she should have left the spirit guide out of this, as a guide is there to finish information to whoever is seeking. The bible is interrupted in several forms and a lot of different religions and fates. This is just one of them. I thought the information was a bit to far off base from my own personal beliefs and will only serve to confuse people, but the young may become believers because they have to find their way and many do not believe what the bible says these days. They think it is just a man made story of a man long ago. Wait until they have to call on his name in a time of great need. Then they will believe that there is a God.

I bought this CD because i was curious.I play this nearly everyday in my car. I LOVE IT!!!! Especailly when I am caught in traffic. It calms me down. I mean how can you get upset when you are listening to the life of Jesus? When my Mom passes away this Feb, i have gotten a few books on the subject of the Afterlife and The Otherside which have helped me but this CD really gave me some food for thought.
