Players can choose to play as themselves or as one of the sport's real-world drivers as they battle it out for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship. Each pro driver has the AI characteristics of his or her real world counterpart, setting the stage for intense rivalries played out on the track. From the 22 real world tracks to full pit stop strategy action, NASCAR The Game 2011 captures the real atmosphere, sense of speed and spectacle that embodies NASCAR. Players can even feel the thrill of a win with the interactive celebration mode. The game also includes multiplayer modes which allow up to 16 players to battle it out for the win online. In both online and offline races, players earn NASCAR experience points which help unlock rewards such as decal packs or special car designs, as well as career sponsorships and special races throughout career mode. Everything you do on the track counts. | |

) this is a very fun game, online is fun for me although i do not play it much. the graphics are great, the controls are great and the gameplay is great.the one problem i have is that the career mode should be much longer. i think if they add a be a team owner mode would be awesome, let you manage a team were u start off with 1 car and crew then go on to hire other drivers to make a full 4 car team. make drivers have contracts. i think it would add a fun aspect to the game nascar 06-07 had something like this and i loved it but dont get me wrong this is a fun game.

Good Nascar game for Activision, for their first time.

Being the fact that this is Activisions' first Nascar game, they did a great job. Some minor things need to be improved but overall alot of fun. One possibility would being able to update car sponsors and drivers. Another possibility would be actually being able to pull into your own pit-stop. Over all a-lot fun.
Recommended for hardcore nascar fans.

This game should be only recommended for hardcore nascar fans. The game has good graphics, but many glitches that irritate me. The damage is very unrealistic. Since this is the first nascar game this company made i will barely give it three stars. If you want an enjoyable nascar game, i recommend a ea sports nascar game instead.

) Yes, graphics are great BUT, online is terrible!! Can't run a race with more than 6 or 7 people if the game doesn't freeze!! Your stats will reset many times!! No way to kick a player from the game which I don't know why the developers did not put this in the game!! Car setup is limited (not like NASCAR 09) This game is in it's BETA stage still if you ask me. Don't waste your $ on this game!! Big disappointment!! There was to much hype build up for this game and it just SUCKS!! Lots of my friends have gone back to playing NASCAR 09, which you can run a race online with 14 players, plus KICK players that are going backwards and doing other stupid things!! They say a patch is coming out but, they have been saying that for 2 1/2 months now!! I will believe it when I see it!!
