I love this book!

The Naturally Healthy Pregnancy presents a balanced Christian view of natural health and healing. The lists of herbs contraindicated in pregnancy was particularly helpful. The author takes media myths about natural healing head-on, while maintaining a common sense view of allopathic medicine.

This book should be required reading for expectant moms

This book not only is good for the already expectant mother, but is good for the woman that wants to optimize her health for a healthy conception and birth. I read this book and was equipped with the knowledge to have a healthy "no-risk" pregnancy and delivery. You will learn what to eat and cook for your entire family to be healthier. You will find out what to do when complications and sickness does occur. the index is exhausted in regards to problems that might arise when pregnant or at any other time for that matter. She lists symptoms to help properly identify ailments. She lists foods to abstain from, and natural remedies for the at risk patient as well. She offers tips and practices to help avoid pain in labor. I have used this book for my entire family, and am at a loss when I loan it out to a friend. The only thing I can say that is wrong with the book, is that is so useful, it should have a better binding, that can stand up to the wear on it.
