NBA 2K12 (Sony Playstation 3, 2011)

picks up right where 2k11 left. the myplayer experience is my fav part of the game. i love that all the former nba stars endorse the game. 2k sports continues to put out the most realistic basketball game year after year and you will not be disappointed with this game at all. if you are new to the 2k basketball it will take a while to get used to controlling the movement of your player but be patient. no doubt the best basketball game ever.

GREAT GAME...PERFECT GIFT...LOTS OF GREAT GRAPHICS...TOTALLY WORTH BUYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE PRICE WE GOT HERE ON EBAY BEAT THE STORE PRICE BY AT LEAST $25.00! I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY NEPHEW FOR XMAS AND HE LOVES IT! WAY BETTER THAN THE OTHER NBA GAMES!!!!!!

NBA 2k12 really set the bar in basketball games from here on out. 2k Sports was able to make this game come alive with the presentations of the game and graphics of the players, fans, and everything really. This game gets a 4/5 in my book. Still things they need to work on, such as: More diverse commentary. They did a great job this year by adding in lots more for us to here. Something on just about every player in the game. However, most players only have 1 or 2 things they talk about, and after awhile it gets annoying and you don't want to listen anymore; Repetitive Animations. The one that's always in my head is a dunk, where the CPU (and sometimes player) goes up and dunks the ball with 2 hands right over the defender. The defender just sits there and takes the posterization of this and looks dumb. He kind of puts his hands up but makes no real attempt to stop it and it draws a foul about 95% of the time. Things like that make it less fun, but overall this game still has much to offer with all the new features and game modes they've added in. My Player once again made vast improvements and is a really fun game mode. Online got better, but connections still a bit lousy every once in awhile, but solid over previous years, and other sports games.

I may not be the best person to give an opinion on NBA 2K12 for the PS3, but then again, I am a white bachelore that cant PLAY basketball in real life, so maybe I am the right person to review this game... Not really for me. I never like the basketball games for the PS3 though. They always seem to be jerky, and not flow very well...That may be more of a knock on the PS3 video drivers though...Anyway, I know my friends will like this game, and many hours will be spent smack-talkin' each other over NBA 2K12, so I will most likely HAVE to buy this game, just to try and save face with my buds.

NBA 2K12 is awesome, dynamic, and truly developing as a basketball fans game! Athlete's, gamer's, and enthusiasts will appreciate this game for sure! I like the ball-handling and truth to the individual NBA player's playing styles! And the my player game mode is better than ever!
