This is an overall great game, and should be a must have for any fan of sport video games. If you have had any version of the NCAA Football series for any console, you will want to get this game.

    Not worth it...

    Created: 18/06/09
I never write reviews because, as someone wrote in a review of MLB 2K9, they are typically feedback for or about the seller. Bought the game last week, played it over the weekend and here's my summery:

If you are a college football purest, DO NOT waste your money. I haven't gotten too deeply into dynasty mode, but then again I wasn't impressed enough to even try. There is VERY limited roster editing capabilities (player info, ratings, height/weight). For anyone who's played the game on the playstation 2, as I have, you know that you can put in your own school and/or players. Can't do that here. The graphics are good, but VERY cartoony. There is no "Campus Legend" or "Race for the Heisman" alternate game mode either. I am fully intent on purchasing NCAA Football 10 for PS2 when it comes out later this summer due to 1) my lack of impress with this game and 2) the fact the EA Sports didn't release that game on Wii. I may reconsider if EA comes out with the 2011 game and fixes these problems.

This is a good game for young kids who want to play football, but for those of us that are college football purests...it's a waste of money.

    Not a bad game

    Created: 19/01/11
I saw several negative reviews about this game and was a little worried since it is the only NCAA football game EA Sports has come out with for the Wii. However, it is actually not bad. Sure it is lacking the great graphics, but most Wii games are. The gameplay seems pretty decent as well. I am by no means a seasoned video game player so I may be setting the bar a little low. However, it is a fun game to play by yourself or against friends.

Why does EA hate the Wii?

    Created: 04/09/08
Graphics were better on NCAA 06.. for the PS2. There is NO race for the heisman, NO campus legend mode, NO online play and the same recycled voices of Herbstreit, Nessler, and Corso from the past 4 years of NCAA. The All-Play mode is a joke. All you have to do is flick your wrist. Any idiot could do it can "pump up the crowd." The advanced controls are just about as easy.
This could be my LAST EA title that I ever buy for the Wii. 1 out of 5.

I just want to sit with my controller

    Created: 05/09/08
I don't need every Wii game to make me jump around and throw passes. I want an option to just sit and use my one controller like I've always been able to with NCAA. There is no option to play like that. I'm all for being able to take advantage of the Wii format, but there should still be the classic game play. I've played the game 2 times in the 6 weeks I've had it.
