NeatReceipts NeatDesk 315 Pass-Through Scanner

This is a amazing product.So SIMPLE to use.And VERY VERY easy to setup.Works great on my PC.I would recommend anyone who has paper clutter like me to get one.It really organizes your desk,office and HOME.I never have to look for a lost receipt again.I have even scanned in all my business cards,and it uses KEY words to find my contacts without having to keep looking at my roledex.It also keeps tax records that are IRS approved.MY recommendation!BUY ONE-YOU WON'T BE SORRY!

works great as a scanner, waste of money for the software, just use your existing printer/scanner. It wont pull price or tax info info off the receipt, see below email from neat receipts customer services
that contradicts there advertising & website

Unfortunately, NeatWorks cannot track multiple currencies or convert currencies. NeatWorks uses the currency that you set as the default for your computer's operating system.

NeatWorks is optimized for English-language content, and its accuracy is significantly diminished with non-English receipts and business cards.

I am scanning us receipts, dont buy it doesnt work

My Neat Desk does not operate correctly as it does not always respond to the off/on switch. It also does not scan every document when you load more than one at a time. I have not loaded the newest update and I'm hoping that it addresses the problems I've encountered. I am also not happy in the way it misses some of the information from a document,receipt or invoice and most of the time it is the vendor's name. It seems that of all the things it would pick up in the scan the name of the vendor would certainly be a given. I really don't find it a piece of equipment that I can count on for true accuracy as described when it is promoted on television. I would really feel more secure going back to the old manual filing of paper receipts and entering on a Quicken program or something like it. The scanner is a great idea but malfunctions in too many areas.

The NeatDesk has been an excellent tool to add to my home office. I use it to scan, file electronically, print, and email all my important documents. The one thing I think this product needs is a tray to catch all the scanned documents.

This product has issues. Read lots of OTHER REVIEWS. You will
see just as many bad reviews for this equipment and its
software as you will see favorable. This is an expensive system
touted to solve all your filing and tracking of expenses. It is
nothing but a headache with NO CORPORATE SUPPORT OR
SERVICE. Once your 30-day trial is up, it is YOURS! You're
stuck with it and good luck trying to work out software issues.
They will not accept return of the machine after 30 days.
Watch out when "upgrading" your software online. When I did,
it corrupted my data and I lost all prior input (days of work).
THIS APPEARS TO BE A COMMON PROBLEM!
In short, do your research BEFORE you buy an expensive
product like this. The red flags are there. I wish I'd seen them
beforeI got mine.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE!
