The cops aren't the only ones after the player though, as the player "blows across borders, weaves through dense urban traffic, rockets down icy mountain passes and navigates narrow canyons at breakneck speeds."[8] There are over 300 km(186 miles) of track, three times more than Hot Pursuit, making it the biggest Need For Speed game.

A new mode was applied in this version of NFS, our cars are no longer like "tanks". Player needs drive cautiously and skillfully, and I think this is very important, especially I bought this game for my friend's 9-year old kids.
However, the disadvantage of this game is the career mode is a little bit too short, and players are not allowed to modify their vehicles.

I bought this product because I am a need for speed hardcore fan. I am very disappointed with the races and the lack of police cars that chase you in this game. The multiplayer even comes with it's own downfall. If you want to race on multiplayer and you choose to do so, do so at your own risk because you actually do race in the race that is already going on. The story line to the game has no taste to it. Plain and simple you the racer owe the mob money you race to pay them back. The characters in the game are dull and look like they belong to a PS2 game. If your looking to be chase by the police buy Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit. This game is not worth the money I paid for it
