) This was exactly as I imagined. Japanese art at it's erotic best. The depictions are truly vintage art and while very graphic and shocking in it's day, the puritan english/american minds will not grasp the truly artistic forms this art takes. In it's time and era, this was truly magnificent art and very expressive. Putitanical ideologies have since taken over the world and this is no longer an acceptable art rendering, but if you like vintage art forms, you will certainly appreciate the depictions in this book. You just may not be able to set it on your coffee table - unless you have like minded friends. :-)
