The Sensors Giveth and the Sensors Taketh

no one had to sell me on the Nespresso system or world, as you will receive a slick magazine when you join the Nespresso club. As a seller I noticed that many people were buying these machines, I purchased one with the intention of selling, tried one cup, now I own two of them. The Romeo came packaged without some parts and the official? seller NespressoCertifiedAuctions told me to contact nespresso and there I had to purchase missing parts. Not so good so far. The machine however is similar to the one I own the 300 as it automatically dispenses a set amount for each capsule size and that amount can be set. Now the fun begins, you set the capsule on a lip push the button and it travels inside the machine, and when done keeps going to a holding area for later dumping. You can do froth the old fashioned way or let the Romeo do iut for you with a special attachment that converts milk into cappuchino or latte froth with variations in between. The bad news is, if your empty capsule tray is about filled, and you hit the make steam/froth button, it will THEN tell you to empty tray. Which is more of a hassle than just emptying a tray especially since steam has NOTHING to do with the capsule tray and you dont want to move the frother attachment out of the way , remove a part from the machine, empty the spillover tray and then the capsules, also moving your milk cup AND your coffee cup out of the way, then doing the reverse and remembering to put back a small part that works with the capsule transport - all before your first cup of coffee....It would of been nice for the machine to say, water is getting low ( you can see the tank) and capsule container getting full.
Since the machine is so much fun to use , I am drinking WAY more coffee than I used to - fr those that do not know, you can only get the capsules mail order from nesspresso website ( or sometimes here on ebay but usually not for a bargain.) If your machine stops working, you are sent a loaner of your machine while yours is being refurbished/fixed. I suppose I can now sell my older nespresso machine here on ebay, but we have been through alot together, and it still turns on by itself every morning, waiting for me to come back for one more cup.

Nespresso Romeo E350

I love this machine. It is easy to use, no mess, minimal clean up. I don't mind that it uses only Nespresso capsules because every flavor I have tried in amazing. I wish I could buy the coffee at the store, but I think this is a small tradeoff for the value. I have used other machines, and they either make a huge mess with the wet grounds, or the crema or flavor is not there. Best buy I have made in awhile.

First the unique design of Nespresso capsules prohibit us from purchasing coffee made by any source other than Nestle. Nespresso machines does not allow us to fine-tune the strength of a beverage as can be done by a traditional pump espresso machine, which allows more control over the amount of ground coffee used per shot.
I don't like the fact that the capsules can only be bought in Nespresso stores, called "Nespresso boutiques", via mail-order or the company web-site.
But otherwise the design is nice and they do make good coffee.

Best coffee ever!

I have a superautomatic at home but my Nespresso makes much better coffee. I wanted one for my office because it is super easy -- no muss, no fuss, virtually no cleaning -- and it has proven to be a joy! This model has digital instructions and read out, which makes it virtually foolproof.
Yes, you must buy the pods from Nespresso, so coffee costs around 61 cents per cup not including the cost of the Machine. There are capsules you can buy and load yourself but I haven't tried them yet because the Nespresso coffees are so darn delicious. I used to drink only cappuccinos or lattes, but the Nespresso coffee is so good I'm drinking it straight now.

I have traveled to Italy and Europe many times....this is the simplest and best espresso I have ever had outside of Italy. WONDERFUL machine...so easy to use. Wonderful Cappucino so easy to make and steam! The coffee choices are INCREDIBLE! I don't recommend it if you just want a regular cup of American coffee. The Nespresso club is also wonderful for accessories.
