The New Successful Coin Hunting
Created: 22/04/08
As with previous editions, this book is long on theory but lacking in the specific area of searching for coins or other metal objects with a metal detector. There are more illustrations and charts and graphs, which I appreciated, but the essence of the search process--using the detector, false readings, "Sweeping" an area--are not covered to the extent that I would have liked. One humorous aspect--the author continues to expand the number of pages given to respecting the rights of others, property rights, ethical behavior, and so forth...probably in response to litigation, threatened or otherwise, from property owners who don't like people with odd-shaped devices invading their land.

Very good book, full of useful information. I have used some of the information in the field and am surprised at how my thinking has changed. I can visually see in my head where kids played and the such.
