    Movie synopsis

When a failed artist who hates his job as a bank teller hits rock bottom, his buddy convinces him that the best thing to do would be to rob the bank he works for. How hard could it be? All they have to do is watch hundreds of bank robbery films and surely they'll figure out the best way to unload the cash from the vaults. This is a film that pays homage to the movies that inspired their robbery, while never taking itself too seriously. Andrew Keegan (7TH HEAVEN ) and Lacey Chabert (PARTY OF FIVE, MEAN GIRLS) keep the humor lively as they bungle their way through a crime that always looks so easy when it's on the screen.

    Sleeping is more entertaining..........

    Created: 14/09/07
I was lured in by the misleading Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs marketing ploy. This movie is so lame and simple I feel dumb for watching it to the end! Even the highly talented and beautiful co-star Lacey Chabert acted as if she just wanted it to hurry up and be over too. It's okay Lacey! I still respect and luv your work!

The movie left me disappointed and confused. I don't know if it was intended to be a tongue in cheek spoof that pooped instead of spoofed or a drama that wasn't dramatic. The ending is terrible! Clearly the writer could have chosen any one of several ending options that would have salvaged the movie, yet opted to push the stick even farther forward steepening the nose dive spiral straight in.

It's clear the producers cut every corner possible to save a nickel here and a nickel there. I have seen far better quality films produced at my college on substantially smaller budgets. To top it all off, the quality of the DVD's picture and sound are just terrible being the worst I've ever seen. This is one of those movies you'll only watch once as there is nothing about it worth a second look.

All in all.....take a nap instead!

    CAUTION: Will induce vomiting!

    Created: 17/10/07
This is a great movie to keep in the household first aid kit. Simply show it to anyone having swallowed poison and it will immediately induce vomiting, even if they're unconscious! This would also be a great movie to show at a quiet and lifeless Halloween party.....it'll have everyone, including the dead, Booing in no time!

This movie is just terrible! The unbelievably moronic and painfully shallow 1/8" deep plot alone is enough to make you hurl.....but wait! They add the lowest quality of sound and cinematography possible to make sure they get bile up as well! You know when your campy teenage kids tell you it's bad....it's bad! Heck, even the family dog hacked up on this one and he snacks on date expired road kill! Seriously people, there is no "safe" level of self-induced inebriation that could make this movie worthy of watching.

It was most disappointing seeing established actors and actresses with stellar resumes perform so far beneath their capabilities. Honestly, all across the board their performances here are just dismal. They must have really needed the money because this vehicle certainly didn't advance anyone's career and definitely won't garner respect from anyone for their role selection. Their performances completely lacks any energy or enthusiasm......blah!

If, for whatever the reason, you feel compelled that you must watch it.....rent, don't buy (make sure the clerk wraps it in a brown paper bag!) because this is a movie not worth watching to the end much less a second time and you'll lose friends if you give it to them to watch! I agree with another reviewer, ferriswheeler69, that this has the worst ending possible! So sit back, take your shoes off and pass the barf bags!

Reflects somewhat the theme of the film

    Created: 03/06/09
I purchased this due to the trailer advertisement - thought it would be a good theme-line. I purchased it used, so didn't lose my shirt by buying a new one.

DISLIKES: The film jumps around a lot instead of logically following scene to scene; The filming/camera's pan in & out too much, and I'd consider it to be a "B" rating film; wasn't what I expected from viewing the trailer (which is why I bought it). I'd say the trailer creates an expectation of intensity that the film doesn't deliver. The film doesn't 'move' and leaves you hanging at the end.

LIKES: The theme / plot is a subject that captures your attention - a guy who feels like a loser, even though he isn't, and gets hooked up with some 'friends' who are greedy, conjur up this idea of robbing a bank and then carry out their plan.

SUMMARY: The film is worth seeing once. There are lessons to be learned from it. I think with a little editing and better photography/filming, it could have been a class "A" film like Ocean's series. I rate it at "AVERAGE".

A New Wave- John Krasinski, Andrew Keegan

    Created: 24/06/08
Although it has a lot of potential, it fluctuates from interesting, quirky and amusing to scattered and off-focus. It's a shame that it wasn't more cohesive and driven, because a lot of it is quite interesting until it veers away from the most compelling ideas. The plotlines are too separate from each other at many points, and the quality of the filming itself varies quite widely. It seems as though the filmmaker was attempting to be original but quite often just ends up being distracting and unmotivated. I felt that Krasinski does a lot to redeem it but as a whole it's pretty mediocre. I'd probably give it 3/5 stars.

    Not what I expected.

    Created: 19/09/09
Ok, so I bought this because John Krasinski (From "The Office") was in it. I knew it was a budget movie. However it was barely viewable. audio and video quality was terrible. Typically I'm not a negative guy. But it was a shame he couldn't have had better quality and better actors. The previews made it out to be more comical than what it actually was. But it was still worth the price I paid.. which was close to nothing. So.. as long as you're not paying much for it.
