Outrageous, shambolic, and bursting with energy, the Dolls borrowed from the amped-up, bluesy swagger of the Rolling Stones, the pop confections of Phil Spector, and the campy theatricality that would flower with the glam movement, yet brought it all together with a visceral impact that recalled the jolt of early rock & roll.

Surprisingly good music. I am an old geezer who knows nothing about rock music, but after seeing a documentary on the Dolls and their revival concert, I thought I'd give it a try. I keep it in my car and play it often. Never too late to try a new thing.

Like this CD. Like New York Dolls. Saw them as intro group at a Kinks concert. They were great. "Trash" is the best.

I'VE ALWAYS LIKED THIS RECORD. I HAD THE 8-TRACK WHEN I WAS 14, AND I'VE RECENTLY DECIDED TO REPURCHASE IT AGAIN.
