NFL Greatest Games Series: St. Louis Rams 1999 Playoffs (DVD, 2007, 3-Disc Set)

I have been looking for years for full games of the St.Louis Rams, but the NFL doesn't like to give out full games, and will rarely show them on TV. I have picked up pieces of Super Bowl XXXIV (featured in this collection), but it has always been watered-down 30 minute specials or something.
These DVDs show nearly every snap of the three playoff games in the Rams magical playoff run and Super Bowl win. When going to a commercial, it will fade out, and you will miss a word or two every now and then, but it's never anything important said by the announcers. There are 13 plays taken out of the Super Bowl game I believe.
The editing could have been a lot better when fading out, and I'm not sure why they took out a few plays (never a big play or touchdown though), which prevents this from being the "perfect" collection.
However, this is a MUST buy for any Rams fan, and if you enjoy watching football games or NFL history, then you will enjoy very much as well.

being a fan of the nfl i love both the tennessee titans and the st louis rams this dvd is great and the super bowl with the titans and the rams was the best ever i hope one day to see another super with the titans and the rams in it i have the titans dvd and now i have the rams dvd and it is so sweet

Being a Rams fan since 1976, these dvds covered their unexpected 1999 playoff run. I liked reliving (yeah, I know it was just 12 years ago) those moments ending with a Super Bowl title. One note; the box explains there may be defects with the transfer to dvd from the original video tapes. And on the Super Bowl 34(xxxiv) dvd. Around 4 offensive plays run by the Rams are missing. This occurs in the second quarter when the Rams get their 3rd field goal to go up 9 to nothing. One play the Rams are inside their own 30 yard line. The next their at the Titans 25. No It wasn't a 40+ yard play. And 3 minutes of game time are off the game clock. Do all the Super Bowl 34 dvds have this defect? A minor quibble, perhaps, but I want to point that out. I did enjoy the purchase overall, in spite of the defect.

This is the broadcast of the Rams Superbowl winning playoff run. It has great quality and nearly every snap of the three games. Superbowl, Tampa and Minnesota. I think it's a must have for an historic Rams team.
