on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge" -(1985) A teen is haunted
by a killer trying to possess his body. "A Nightmare on Elm
Street 3: Dream Warriors" -(1987) Teen mental patients are
terrorized by a killer in their dreams. "A Nightmare on Elm

1,2, Freddys Coming 4 You!! 3,4, You Better Wake Up!!!

Created: 20/09/09
This Nightmare On Elm Street Collection is Amazing! If you own the 7 indivdual titles this 7 DVD set (PLUS A BONUS = 8 DVD SET) is much better due to the many extras found on the bonus disc titled The Nightmare Encyclopedia which has all 7 Movie Previews that were shown in theatres, it also has Music Videos including DOKKEN's "Dream Warriors". It has a interactive game called The Labyrinth which is very hard, if you have a DVD-Rom you get even more extras like all 7 Screenplays and an interactive Freddy that haunts your PC courtesy of Togglethis.com. What can I say you get so much more! All the Movies are in the best Quality in this set. I have to also say NANCY who is played by Heather Langenkamp brought this whole collection to life with her roles in Nightmare 1, Nightmare 3, and Wes Cravens new Nightmare. Without NANCY who we were all so familiar with from the start, this collection would not be so Good. I also give a big thanks to Wes Craven for taking the laughs out of Freddy and taking him back to what he was in the original Nightmare 1, a Horror Icon not a comedian! I highly encourage anyone to buy this collection! The DVD set is truly amazing for any Nightmare On Elm Street fan! A CLASSIC for EVERY horror collection

The Pre-Jason Freddy- An Anthology

Created: 21/12/05
Freddy Krueger is a legend. Not a legend like Bob Dylan or Ray Charles, because those people actually exist. But a legend like The Easter Bunny if The Easter Bunny ripped giant gashes into you while you slept.
This DVD set has the 'pre-Jason' Freddy we all grew up and loved. The one who just murders and jokes. There are extras of course, sice its a boxed set. But the best bonus is that I scored this set on eBay for $40 with shipping.
This is a must-have for Freddy fans- Nightmares one through New Nightmare plus a bonus disc.
My favorite movie of the series was Part 3 Dream Warriors. Kind of Freddy Krueger meets One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, with a catchy little Dokken song thrown in. 'I lie awake in the morning light I'm not alone, I wonder if these heavy eyes can face the unknown', then the song goes 80s-Hairband. Watch the film all the way through past the credits, and you'll see a great music video starring Freddy.
These DVDs will keep you up- either laughing or creeped out. Which is good. Because 'Remember, whatever you do, don't fall asleep'

In a nightmare, only FREDDY can hear/make you scream!!!

Created: 08/08/08
With a few notable exceptions like the SAW Trilogy (soon to be quadrilogy) and a few others, there are no horror movies out there that even come close to Robert Englund's Nightmare on Elm Street. You can watch the very first one or the very last and always be entertained and freaked out!

That can't be said with many movies today because the writing simply isn't as good. With all of the classic lines in this series along with Freddy VS Jason, this is a series to actually KEEP!

My Horror Classic ratings:

Alien VS PREDATOR series; the best of the two best storylines! Superior special effects and creatures!
ALIEN series; the original Space/alien thriller!
PREDATOR series; Genuine creativity and writing!
SAW series; The most clever serial killer/thriller ever! Great imagination and special effects!
Friday the 13th; Superior first three and then downhill from there but very entertaining to watch!
JAWS series; Only I & II. Three and four were bad for the shark & for us!
SleepAway Camp; A really great original and then downgraded from there but clever!
The Hills Have Eyes; Original and remake were very good but the sophmore offering was a waste of film!?!?!...zombies or not!

All of the "Living Dead/Zombie" movies out there with all incantations; Day, Night, Evil, Children, Fog, I, II, III, all remakes, including Tarintino/ Rodriguez's Grindhouse offering, etc...It's ZOMBIE mania and if you like this genre, watch them all and you'll quickly see the ones you might want to keep versus the ones that make really good frisbees?!?!!!

..gotta go, there's something knocking at my back door...
