Nintendo 64 Smoke Grey Console (NTSC)

First, we did buy this used, so we didn't pay much for this game console. So the WOW FACTOR over shadows what we paid for it. We got this game system for my six year old daughter, we were going to get het her a Nintendo 3DS, but like my wife pointed out she doesn't like to play by herself, so we would also be playing. Her main thing was she wanted to play Mario Bros. We just wanted her to get used to a bigger system, her previous video game is one of the plug in controllers with built-in Classic Atari Games, and a couple of PC Games. So before we get her a Wii or a 3DS, we'll see how this works out. I do know the Game Console came in GREAT! condition as well as the Controller and the included games. I tried it out, I was really impressed by the graphics, didn't take long to get a hold of, on learning how to use it.
Bottom line, if your child wants a video game system, I think they will enjoy this. My total expense for everything: Nintendo 64 Console with two games, one extra game, two extra brand new Controllers in Blue Total:$82.72, not bad compared to $199.99 or $299.99 for new game systems. Another good thing E-Bay is loaded in Nintendo 64 Games. Now once my daughter learns the System really well then we'll get a Brand new System.

I think its a wonderful system, it is old but some of the games can be way funner and way cheaper. For example you could get an xBox 360 game for 10$ and be like "oh thats cheap" but it probably won't be as fun. And you could get like 5 N64 games and one of them will probably be funner then the xbox game. But it really depends on your taste like if you really care if the graphics arn't as detailed as like Halo or something like that. It is a great gift for someone who is into gaming and just fun to play with.

I bought this product for my five years old son.

The price was a plus, and the numerous games made it easy to find ones that he could play.

The controller made it a little hard for him at first as he was used to his game boy.

I bought this product to experience some of the old nintendo games. I love everything about this product. This product is far better than half of the other video game consoles I have used and has by far created the most fun for myself.

What makes the Nintendo 64 hold up in today's dynamic video game market is Durability, simplicity and a solid selection of classic games.

The system itself as well as the games can be handled by younger gamers since it is so well built. I have dropped mine before and it has survived to play another day!

The N64 is also very simple compared to modern games. Just hook up the power cable and the A/V connection and you are good to go!

Finally, the games available on the market are diverse and fun. Super Mario World, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Starfox are all games that make this system a true gamer's classic.

Overall, I would put this system up against any of its time or in the modern era. Not to mention that the price of a Nintendo 64 is far lower than even ONE game for a PS3 or Xbox 360. You simply cannot go wrong with the N64!
