Nintendo 64 Watermelon Red Console (PAL)

Nintendo 64 electronics encased in Watermelon-colored console. Works just like the normal classic Nintendo 64 consoles, except it has the attractive color. You need the 4MB memory expansion (not the jumper pack) to play most 64 games and the 1MB controller ram is needed as well. This is the American NTSC-N system which works in the USA/Canada region 1 only. To play NTSC-J (Japan) or PAL (Europe) import games, you will need something like the SFX Universal adapter. This is a great system if you have children up to yrs 13-14. Nintendo titles for the N64 are cute, relatively innocent, and fun fun fun! Pick up a copy of Zelda, Smash Bros, or a Mario game for days of game play.

I recently bought mine and when I recived it It was a little dirty so I took it in to a used game store to have it cleaned and to my surprize (knowing nothing about the system prior to this) I was told this is a limited edition color and is becoming rare and harder to find. I only bought mine because I wanted to try this system since i have alot of the other systems and the price was right. I guess my point is if you have the money I suggest you buy one or as many as you can get! As i was waiting for mine to be cleaned I was offered $400 for it by another customer as he had all the other limited colors but the pink. I bought mine for $35! You may think im nuts but I did not sell it. I plan to hold onto it for the value to increase and enjoy it until then. I really recommend it you plan to buy a Nintendo 64 spend a little more and get a limited edition colored one and keep it in good shape who knows what it will be worth later in years!

The "funtastic" series of N64 consoles are among the coolest looking video game consoles every made. "Watermelon" is one of the more lively colors. In the late nineties the local Best Buy showcased N64s, which impressed me back then with the whimsical and immersive quality of the games.
An N64 console, especially the funtastic versions such as Watermelon and Ice Blue (which I own) are not only lots of fun for not much money (good used game cartridges are inexpensive) but they are possibly an investment as well. Who knows what a well-kept watermelon, ice blue or fire orange N64 console may be worth in the years to come.

I bought the game for the main reason that it was "adult" owned and used. The second reason was the color (Watermelon). The seller had kept the box for the console and some of the games. It was almost like buying it new.

i love this thing, the nintendo 64 is the best system ever made and i got such a good deal on this one. i can't wait to get and play it, i also bought zelda so im looking forward to playing all of the stuff the stuff i got for it. i bought it because it is awesome and i love it. i would like nothing more then this.
