My 11 year old daughter loves this game. She states that it adds the use of your voice and breath to control the puppies and their toys.
Clearly a upgrade from the intial Nintendo games. Highly recommened - great for the kids, but I enjoyed it as well.

This game is simply THE BEST from Nintendo! The game is easy to use. I don't have to read the manual very often because the game guides you through. I love the fact that they mix the most popular breeds for this game. When you start the game, I like the fact that you already have a bottle of water and a packet of food for your dog. They also include the Santa hat, tennis ball, and black leather collar. I love how the game seems so surreal...walking your dog, feeding, making sure they have enough water, and playing with your dog.
I dislike that I can only go to 3 competitions a day with my dogs. I would like to see unlimited competitions because they are so much fun. If you make a mistake in the competition it makes you wait until tomorrow to compete again. This part is a bit frustrating.
Overall, I love the game and would highly recommend it to any animal and DS lovers.

Nice beginner game...

This was a perfect fit for my "just turned" 5 year old daughter. She loves it. This was easy to plug & play although I am sure the book would have been helpful. I saw this game was part of a package deal. I had bought the system already but I really wanted this game for my daughter since both of our dogs had passed away fairly recently.

Great game....my granddaughters love to play it on their DS. Two of them have the game and they can play each other!!!

) I gave this to my daughter to play because she loves dogs. She loves the animal type ds games. She just played with it for about 15 minutes and said she doesn't like it and decided to move on to the nintendo Wii fit that we just got her at Easter. My daughter is 8 years old, in second grade and very smart. She played with the new BabyGirl ds game for longer. I guess this game just didn't grab she attention as much are others.
