    Unforgetable Game

    Created: 17/12/08
This was a game that i have wished to play in a long time. It got great reviews from all over the place so I've decided to try it myself.

Starting with the graphics. They are cel shaded style so the game got an art feeling wich gives him an unique touch. But they could be a little better.
The gameplay is great! Hack and slash action of the best you can find and with a little touch of the wiimote which I think that could have more use. Lot's of gore(in the ntsc version because pal is censored)helps give the action more rush.
Now for the story. You play as an assassin which in a rank battle turned up to become the 11th best of america's assassin association and as so he entered a no way out way. Now with the help of a sexy french assistant you have to make your way through the ranks to become the best of all! I know that this sounds like a lame story but now mix it up with a good amount of sidequests to make money, the little touch of dressin travis touchdown and a lot of HUMOR AND GORE!

With this said I think everyone should try this awsome game which for me is worth 9/10 !

Hack and Slash with a retro feel

    Created: 09/04/10
From the moment I laid eyes on the cover, I knew this was going to be an epic game, and it definitely didn't disappoint. You play as Travis Touchdown, an otaku just looking to be #1. Your main objective is to kill every assassin until you reach #1, doing side jobs such as cutting the grass and assassinating a CEO to raise enough funds to fight each ranked person. The only drawback to the side jobs portion is that some of the jobs can get redundant after a while and some pay WAY more than others, so there's no sense in doing some of them.

Other than that, this game has a very GTA feel about it. The time between ranked matches is spent in the open ended area of Santa Destroy. The only thing here is that you can't just go around killing random people. O well.

The boss matches are good, ranging from the ridiculously easy to knuckles- against-the-concrete hard.

Graphics are not bad. Many elements are purposely designed to have a retro 80's NES/Atari look, which helps make it stand out as more than just a bland hack and slash.

And the last thing, the fighting. Well for starters you fight with a beam katana (a lightsaber without calling it that) to slash your way through enemies. There's tons of moves you can do, all ending with a glorious spilling of blood. :)

All in all, this is a great game! Be sure to play this one before you buy Desperate Struggle!

Best game of the year so far!!!

    Created: 04/04/08
This is the game every Wii gamer (over 18) has waited for, a game with plenty of action and a mature storyline. You star a Travis Touchdown a reluctant assassin whos weapon of choice is his beam katana. After killing a drifter named Helter Skelter you find out by the mysterious Sylvia Crystal that he was number 11 in the USAA(United States Assassins Association). From there you make it your mission to become the number 1 assassin.
Everything about the game is great. The cast of characters, graphics, gameplay and music. What makes it even better is the Wiis control system. As you attack enemies they can get stunned and you can unleash various wrestling moves by shifting the remote and nunchuck in a number of ways. The top 10 assassins are all completely different from each other, and are amonst the best boss battles you will ever play in you lifetime!!!!
Summed up in one word AMAZING!

    One word "Awesome"

    Created: 10/06/09
This game is hands down one of the freakiest and stylish and bad ass games I have ever played. If you thought killer 7 was weird, this one up that. This game has everything you could want, insane amounts of gore, over the top killing moves, and character story. The side missions are varied and fun but the meat and potatoes are the boss battles and boy does it deliver. Every boss is different in their own move set and most of them are fairly difficult. Each one has a different motive and a different personality at that. It makes you think about how many games are lacking in this area. The over the top ending had me going crazy for a sequel, which will be out very soon.

If you decide to get this game, make sure you get the American version. On the Japanese and European versions the gore has been reduced to nothing. Oh, and the swearing. This game is definitely one you will remember. Buy it, you wont regret it.

    No More Heroes - Wii

    Created: 02/03/09
I am a fan of action games. This made me a little hesitant to buy a Wii, which is more geared to family type games. Titles like No More Heroes give me hope for the system.
The gameplay of this game is ridiculously enjoyable. Unlike some sword wielding Wii games, you do not frantically wave the remote to execute attacks. Careful button pressing combined with Wii remote movement death blows make this game great fun without becoming boring or old quickly.
The graphics on this game are a little lacking, which is the only thing holding it back from an "Excellent" rating. The lack of graphical depth did not hinder the game experience.
A word of caution: this game is not for the young or squeamish. After you kill an enemy, blood squirts in all directions. If you do not want grotesque violence, this game may not be for you.
In conclusion, No More Heroes is an excellent title for those of us that want some carnage from our Wii systems. Its amazing gameplay will have you itching for another foe to kill.
