Nokia 3595 - Silver (Unlocked) Cellular Phone

I had this phone for years and years and actually hated to give it up. The reception was great and the battery lasted forever! I never had any problems with this phone at all and highly reccommend purchasing one as a backup. It has a color screen and it's actually a pretty light phone for being an older phone. The screen can be locked so you don't accidentally press numbers if it's in your pocket. I use to download lots of songs and games on it. Solid phone to say the least! - gene

The Nokia 3595 is a full color multi function phone marketed to first time buyers or seasoned veterans of wireless communications. My wife and I both have these type of phones and like them very much. We only use them as phones and don’t text message or anything else. After over five years I’m on my third one and she still has her original one.
The only thing that I dislike about this phone it is that the ear phone jack will not work with standard mini plug devices. You can only use devices with a special mini plug connection that was designed for these phones. This is the main reason that I have stayed with it.
If we switch too ones that use standard mini plug devices we have to scrap our Nokia hands free car kits and all of the ear buds that we have. Also as time goes on it is getting harder to purchase ear buds that have this special plug on them.

The nokia 3595 cell phone came out when the GSM format was intruduced by cingular & T-mobile. The phone by many people today refer to it as a dinosaur.The phone does have one quality that is still unmatched by any Flip phone .This phone will have signal (two or three bars) when most others have nothing.Also,very few people know that using the wired ear & mic cord will also increase signal strength.
The down side of this phone is that to some call it bulky or not as easy to carry as a flip phone. It doesn't have blue tooth qualitys, or internet acess or do music downloads either.Ringtones are very limited also.
In summary the 3595 is the phone to have if you just want to use the phone as a phone.

the phone was a replacement phone for me as I destroyed the last one I had. Although it is an old style phone, I like the durability of the phone. I find that this phone has much better reception than even the newer phones, although heavier and bulkier than the new phones I prefer the usefulness of the phones I have seen other newer phones that do not work in areas that mine does. Battery life is great, I wish that nokia would make it easier to buy these older phones. I do not want to give up usefulness of a phone just because it is smaller or lighter.
