) While this particular model (gold) is the European model, it works fine with American wireless providers as well as the after-market hard wire car-kits. There are a couple of minor differences in the defaults, like time is set on 24hr miliary and dates were day, month, year insead of month day year. Even with these minor changes, that can be reset to your liking, if you are looking (as I was) to replace an old Nokia 6310i phone with a new one, I definitely would look for one of these.

) Very good basic cell phone. Took mine to AT&T and they installed SIM card .... working good. Looks retro because of the monochrome display which what I like .Unlike the most current cell phones today that have tiny button, the Nokia 6310i has good size buttons. This is probably the last of the old school type of cell phones that Nokia made that are still available.

Nokia 6310i is the best fone which i like the most.Although I have a lot of other antique fones such as Siemens Sl45-45i, Sony Z1-Z5, Ericsson T39-R380,... but I like Nokia 6310i the most, It always go along with me every time and every where.
Its form is so professional,connecting by bluetooth and IDr, and battery is so long.

Best phone model from Nokia

I had two Nokia 6310i phones before this a new one. I like very much this model. excellent coverage. Long-life battery. Intuitive menus. Large enough for keys
Great Phone at a Great Price

I just love the simplicity and all the features this phone has. The battery lasts a very long time and it also keeps all my data synchronized by using the Nokia PC Suite and a Bluetooth connection. Definitely a great choice with huge value at a very low price.
