- THE GOOD
The Nokia N86 8MP features an 8-megapixel camera that takes excellent pictures and include advanced options, such as a wide-angle lens and variable aperture. It's also a capable smartphone and offers Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G support.
- THE BAD
The N86 is expensive. Compared with the competition, the phone's display is a bit low resolution and the software feels outdated.
- THE BOTTOM LINE
If you can afford it, the Nokia N86 8MP is one of the more advanced and better camera phones on the market today, but there are cheaper alternatives.

The device I received could not charge reliably through the micro USB connector without fiddling with the plug and holding it in a particular position. The auto focus on the video was non existent and on the stills was highly inaccurate. Very disappointed because the phone. if working properly would have been what I wanted.

Wanted to buy it for my wife for her 30th birthday. Phone was listed as "unlocked" which I'm pretty sure it was, but there were some obvious software problems with it. Icons were disappearing, phone wouldn't access internet or maps, error messages kept popping up, settings were not accessible to set up the phone or make changes. Tried to contact the seller after paying for it to no avail. Was going to return it but decided to try and fix it myself. Managed to do so after a few hours and now the phone is great! I'm glad I got it but the process from start to finish was not so great.

) I like this cellphone because I can zoom in pictures closer 20x and 6x for videos so I can see closer on the object. The only thing I don't like is there's no SOS signal for emergency. no timer or stopwatch and protected code menu to able to save important passwords and cannot be access by anyone but me.

) Nokia N86 8MP is not compatible with MMS T Mobile. It resizes pictures that were sent to your phone to a very small size. T-Mobile stil doesn't have MMS configuration settings for this phone. Other than that the phone is great.
