) I bought this book for an American Lit college course. The book is HUGE and very heavy. The pages are very thin and the writing is small. We didn't use most of the book, so maybe they need to make an even shorter edition. Other than that, it was fine.

My daughter is in AP English and this is a paperback book. It was better to buy a book than to be charged at the end of the school year for wear on a paperback book. My daughter now can take notes in the book and highlight important parts.
