Nursing 2007 Drug Handbook by Lippincott & Co and Springhouse (2006, Other, Mixed media product)

Having been in the medical field for over 20 years I have had plenty of exposure to drug reference books. The Nursing Drug Handbook by Springhouse is by far the easiest to use, very concise and obviously up to date especially when purchasing the most current year. Please note it isn't necessary to purchase a new handbook every year, I feel current for about three years when I make a new purchase.

This nursing drug handbook is great to have on hand. My old one from 2001 was somewhat outdated and I wanted a newer book. My husband uses this also in his work as a registered nurse.

I bought this book for the nursing classes I am enrolled in. I like it alot because it tells everything there is to know about the medication. It is extremely helpful. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs a drug book.

it is sometimes difficult to find drugs quickly to look up because they are not listed alphabetically. they are separated by drug classifications, which makes the drug more difficult to find if you do not know its classification. organizing the drugs alphabetically would have been easier to navigate the book. now i have to use the index which takes more time & adds an extra step.

This book is invaluable! Whether or not you are a nurse, it is so handy that it makes the PDR nearly obsolete. It covers the majority of meds in a concise and easy to use format. My last book was from 1993 & I've kept and used it ever since. All the wanna-be's and knock off's are pathetic.
