I love one of my Olympus 35 RC cameras and the other I could easily love too, if the light meter did work. The Olympus 35 RC around your neck is like carrying a plastic toy camera, but the photo quality says something a lot different. I've gone through about 6 rolls of film, every click of the shutter produced perfect images, except for a few occasions where I moved or the subject moved and blurred the shot. Not one photo over or under exposed using 200 and 400ISO films. I'd use my Olympus 35 RC a lot more if not for the cost of processing film. You will fall in love with the Olympus 35 RC. I have a lot of other cameras, but when I go out exploring old ghost towns I want to know the shot is there. I have come to know and trust my Olympus 35 RC beyond even beyond my best digital cameras. I would recommend the Olympus 35 RC camera to anyone, it's uncomplicated and forgiving. Built well but not like hanging a cement block around your neck! Get one if you can find a good one, you won't be sorry.

What can I say about this little gem? I adore this camera. It's tiny, quiet and takes great pictures.
The first one I bought had a dead meter in it. Not a problem, really, I was a photo major in college for a while, I know what the little knobbies do. The pictures came back startlingly good. as a bonus, if you are careful about loading the film, you can easily get 39 shots on a 36 roll, which is kind of a drag when the negative sleeve pages only hold 35 frames, but with slides it's a good deal.
Truly one of the best rangefinders ever made. this one is definitely a keeper!

If you need a camera for a photo class, this is the one. It works in full manual as well as auto. The OM-PC is not hard to find and is usualy in good to excelent condition when you do. It uses any OM mount lens. It goes for less than its big brother the OM-4 but shares many features.
