Olympus FE-370 8.0 MP Digital Camera - Pink

I bought this camera after a coupe of family members had one. I love it, it is the best digital camera I have bought to date. Takes crisp pictures and mediocre videos. Here are some specs on the camera:

I had a digital camera about five years ago that was so complicated that I finally gave it to my son. I am somewhat technilogically impaired. I never learned to program my VCR and now I can barely figure out how to play the DVD!! So, that's what I love about this cammera---I can figure out how to use it!! It came with an instruction book and I followed the steps and wowie zowie!! I can take pictures and download them to my computer. I can take the battery out and recharge it and put it back in, etc--etc.!!! Clear crisp pictures. Easy zoom in and back out. It has little read outs right in the screen to help focus. I LOVE IT!!!!

The transaction was quick and easy. Its seven fully-function auto-shooting modes, combined with the super 5X optical zoom and 8 megapixels, produce pictures that are sharp and clear. I was bought one for my oldest and after checking it out, immediately bought one for my other child (they're both teens). They love them and so do I. I'll be purchasing another one for my very own soon.

My True Love, lost our camera while skiing, so I replaced it with this ebay purchase. We like having some of the controls on the outside of the camera , instead of all on screen. We find the colors are more true with this model than with our newer 12 megapixel camera , and we like the setting for taking pictures behind glass. It is a great setting for removing glare. I have taken aquarium pictures that turned out great with this camera. I do wish it was easier to delete a number of pictures at one time with this camera , but sure do love the way it takes pictures. It is easy and a handy take along size. I am tempted to buy another!

I have that old workhorse, the Canon AE1 that takes great landscape and art photos but I got tired of paying for developing and printing candid pictures of the grandkids that weren't any good. I decided I needed a small digital camera to fit in my pocket or purse to take pictures when traveling or visiting the grandchildren. It had to be easy to use,(I've never owned a digital camera before and have real problems with things that work "just like a computer"), have a large viewing screen, and cost under $200. This Oympus FE-370 has been great for taking quick candids without having to go through a complicated set up. I especially like that it takes great pictures even in marginal light without the flash. The camera also has a wide range of options that I figured I'd never use, but now I think I'll try out some of them because the camera so far is easy to use.
The biggest downside is the index of the Instruction Manual. The instructions are clear, understandable, and come with a lot of pictures once I find them, but finding the page for the information I want is awful. For instance, when I wanted to download the pictures onto my computer I looked in the index for "Download to computer" then "View" then "Computer"--no entries. I finally found the information by going through the manual page by page. The index heading turned out to be "Connecting". I'm solving this by creating my own index on the blank Memo page at the back of the booklet!
