Olympus VN-6000 (1024 MB, 604 Hours) Handheld Digital Voice Recorder

I bought the VN-6000 to record the infomation I have been studying.This unit allows me to quickly and easily record the info I am learning so I can be more efficient in my new projects.I had purchased 1 for my 91 year old Mother who takes it with her to Doctors appointments she goes to help her remember what is said. The size is perfect I put it in my pocket and the rest is history. I don't care for the FF or rewind, because it starts over or goes all the way to the end in 1 push. I would recommend getting the optional pouch that comes with some of the audio units. I use the device many times a week,recording and studying. I set my device on SP which gives me on 4 settings,A,B,C,and D each have, 997-1024 hours of recording time and voice activated,its a time saver.I love it
I highly recommend this Device!

1. Front panel design is very good, there is no mess or ugly odds there.
2. The highest speed recording makes great sound to listen for 80 hours max.
3. All standard connectors are equipped for a MIC and an Ear Phone.
4. Great LCD display helps operation which is reasonably arranged.
5. Only 2x AAA batteries are a little bit wary about it's lasting time.
Well, use AAA lithium batteries to avoid a problem.
6. Too small size makes a problem to find it.
It is user's problem.
I am totally satisfied and I love the Olympus VN-6000.

An excellent recorder. I can modify the mic sensitivity level, which I love, and then set to voice activated and only pick up what I want. It also saves on battery life because it is not constantly running. I had an earlier model, which was also very good. A little tricky figuring out how to use the folders and sub-folders without deleting what I want, but the manual that comes with the recorder is also very good.

This is a very good product. Long battery life and easy to use! Very recommendable if you want to buy a recorder. The sound is very clear and loud :)

If you're a musician on the go, a singer learning a vocal part or something with a bad memory, this is perfect for you.

The sound quality is great for something it's size. Recording reminders, songs or anything is easy and can easily be organized. The 4 folders allow for easy access to each "genre" of recording. Plus, each segment is numbered in order within the folder.

Overall, great for the price and worth a buy.
