    Movie synopsis

Dr. Gillen Lane (Van Dien) is a famous motivational speaker and New Age guru who unknowingly becomes a pawn in the game of Stone Alexander (York), a corrupt businessman whose goal it is to control the world. By unraveling a numerical code hidden within the bible, Alexander attempts to do just that. This independently financed $7.2 million dollar film shocked Hollywood insiders when it managed to slip into the box office top ten under their radar, and will most certainly be remembered in cinematic history as the first film marketed exclusively at Evangelical Christians (successfully, at that).

    The Anti-Christ is coming......

    Created: 17/01/10
Movie shows one possible interpretation of how the End Times will play out, according to Bible prophecy. A fascinating movie for Christians, because the End may be similar to the movie. But non-believers can enjoy it as a good work of fiction with action, drama, international intrigue, a little bit of love and family, and a heavy dose of the super-natural. This movie is based VERY closely on the Bible.

Needs to be watched with MEGIDDO OMEGA CODE 2.

FYI: A friendly tip to fellow Christians: Jesus isn't coming back to FIX things until AFTER the Anti-Christ messes everything up. Dispensationalists are in for a big disappointment, if they think they get to escape just before the Tribulation. The "rapture" happens after more than 3.5 years of the Great Tribulation. Don't be deceived!

Christian movies are finally getting out there and making an impact. So, how did this one do?

    Positives:
1)Not bad for a lot-budget Christian film. Not bad.
2)Acting is decent, which is a phenominal event in Christian movies.
3)The story is good. Of course, it came from a book, but who cares. The story is good!!
4)There are some actual suspenseful moments in this movie. I was impressed...but..

    Negatives:
1)They definatley over-did the suspense thing in this movie. Out of no where, for no reason, an extremely loud, thunderous sound and a blinding flash would go across the screen. Why? I couldn't tell you.
2)Some of the actors were decent, most made you want to scream and run away.
3)I would put this as a positive, but then I realized that it would probably be a negative: I found this movie to be quite funny. There were several laugh out loud moments. Of course, most of them were meant to be quite serious..hmm...

    Conclusion:
This film was better than the second one Meggido, so I put it to "average." Though there arn't a lot of positives for this movie, it's still not bad for a low-budget Christian film.

I was replacing a VHS. Changing VHS's if available to DVD's. There is nothing I dislike about it. I want to keep this DVD for a very long time.

    The End by the Bible?

     | No, I would not recommend this product.

I bought this DVD because I remembered a stir about it many years ago. While It is a Christian Apocalyse movie it does take certain liberties with the underlying Prophecies, and it has nothing on the Rapture. I enjoyed it and thought that Casper Van Dean did a good Job.

But if you are looking for a time of Tribulation and Rapture movie this would not be high on my list.

We enjoyed this movie so much. My husband really likes movies, and while I am just as happy with information on end time prophecy,on dvd's, my husband gets more from movies. He did not read the Left Behind series, like I did because he is not a reader, so this movie was great for him.
