Over the past few months I have had the opportunity to listen to Three Day's Grace on the radio. It has been a long time since I have gone out and purchased a physical CD but this group made me decide to go get it.

I was at Virgin Festival: Calgary and I had the opportunity to see Three Day's Grace live on stage. I was blown away by the energy, hard rocking lyrics, and personality of this group. In my opinion they were at par with the headline The Stone Temple Pilots!

So I went out and grabbed One-X. The CD has 12 songs on it along with a neat little video montage about the making of One-X if you put it into a computer.

The CD has hits like Pain, Animal I have Become, Riot, and It's All Over. However the rest of the CD is not filler! The entire compilation just rocks! This is not the type of CD that you buy for 1 or 2 songs. You can put this into your car changer and drive for a while with it!

Overall I was a casual fan of Three Day's Grace. After seeing them live at the Virgin Music Festival and listening to this great CD I'm now a fan!

The songs on this album by Three Days Grace are more "soulful" and have more subtelty to them than on their first album. Absolute musts include:

Never too Late
On My Own
Animal I Have Become
Gone Forever.

But really, they are all great.

I get a kick out of the negative reviews on this cd cos they are WRONG!!! This blows the first Three Days Grace cd away!!! This lead singer and the bands creative hooks is outstanding! Face it...Nickelback would not let these guys tour with them if they were not rockers! I would say this cd is by far one of the top 10 rock cds of they year 2006. My son is 18 and he loves sit! The songs "Animal In Me" and "Pain" are the best. Finally, there is not one bad song on this cd and for those of you looking for a band to help good rock and roll to stay...Three Days Grace is a band making that a fact!

Gotta be one of the best albums I've heard in a long time! Every song on it is great, and if you listen to the lyrics, they all have a meaning that flow into each other. They follow the lead singer (Adam Gontier)'s emotional problems and depression from the start, to the end, and it also tells people who suffer from this that they aren't the only ones. There are many other people like them out there. A very good album, the songs are great! I really recommend it to anyone who likes good rock music, and especially if you loved the original Three Days Grace album!
