This game is one of the best games I have ever owned. I have played this I can say how many times. I had to buy this for a second time because my first disc just wore out.

If you enjoy slaying undead then this is an awesome game. It was made by the same people the made the Resident Evil Series. So they are producing a game that is set in the Middle Age Japan during the 1600's during the historic reign of the warlord Nobanaga, who was credited with uniting parts of Japan.

You are a young warlord who is thrust into a middle of figuring out and finding out the source of a great evil that has befallen the area. As you go through you discover that prognosticator from the first game is not as dead as you thought you left him. You have friend this time around that are playable and help progress deeper into the story line than if you just play with the main character. It adds an extra layer that was missing from the previous game.

5 stars across the board with this title!

    Arguably the best Onimusha game

    Created: 22/09/09
Fantastic story. A unique main character, Jubei Yagyu, in contrast to Onimusha 1 & 3's hero, Samonuske-Akechi, he brings a much more aggressive and charasmatic personality - along with the cast which all shares their own uniqye traits. The gameplay has been refined with analog support and updated controls, the enemies are as hard as they've ever been, and as diverse aswell. Loads of mini-games which add to the replay value of this game, and with a level up system that'll keep those determined gamers busy and rewarded. Action packed, guarenteed hours of fun and thrills.

    Pretty fun and great value.

If you've played and enjoyed the 1st game, Onimusha 2 should be a definite buy, especially at the reduced used or new prices you might find on half.com or ebay. Graphics are better than the 1st game, same goes for elements like game play, enemy AI, options in terms of fighting etc. I am glad i got this game and now looking forward to buying Onimusha 3.

    EXCELLENT SEQUEL

    Created: 28/05/06
The Onimusha series on PS2 is awesome. This 2nd game builds on the 1st so you revisit areas that were destroyed in Onimusha Warlords...but don't worry, there's all new stuff too! This one has an additional bartering system that you use with the NPCs to get extra goodies. Like the 1st game, this one has excellent graphics, gameplay, level design, monsters, etc, etc...just freakin' great.

WAY To Much Blood And Gore!

    Created: 08/02/07
I don't like this game at all as there is WAY too much blood and gore. I purchased this game thinking that it was similar to the Dynasty series of games that we love. Besides the fact that it's a one player game you hear the weapon going into your victim and you see LOTS of blood. This game isn't at all what I thought.
