Oreck steam-it Stick Cleaner

Bought this for my dull stone floors. It's a great item. It works great on my stone floor. The local Oreck store helped with more pads and also cleansers and ideas of surfaces to use it on.
I'm looking forward to using it on hood over my stove and exhaust fan.
I wish there were more ideas in the booklet but the store staff was VERY helpful.

Works well. Made our hardwood (maple) cleaner than I have ever seen it. Works great on laminate as well. Instructions could be better, as I was not sure as to what pieces should be in place to do what type of floor. Heats fast and the clips make it great to use plain old terry cloth towels if you want. The only other downside, for us anyway, is that with a water only cleaning tool, you don't get that "just cleaned" smell afterwards, but I guess you can just burn a candle or something.

Quality NIB product and at an affordable price. This product performs as you would expect ORECK products. Its considerably MORE versatile than comparable, although less expensive, units like Shark and others. Its compact, relatively light, ample cord and gives great steam oriented results. We find it great for bathroom tiles, carpets, asphalt tiled kitchen floors. However, its very cumbersome to use for cleaning horizonal surfaces such as glass, mirrors, and less than effective. Spend an extra buck by using only distilled water and you won't have the predicted calcium deposits requiring frequent cleaning of the head.

The Oreck steamer is a wonderful product lightweight, easy to handle but definetly tough on dirt. The different attachments make it super easy to use. Great for cleaning windows, harwood floors, ceramic tile .

Well built and sturdier than other steam mops I have had. Puts out a LOT of steam and really cleans so does not dry instantly. Large resorvoir, but cord not long enough in my opinion. Says you can use your own covers, but I cannot get anything else to stay and fit like the bonnets that come with them...so I bought extra. Thicker head does not allow for getting under very low places or for making tight swivel motions like the steam mop. But again, it is sturdier and cleans better on my ceramic tile floors.
